Appeal for Uttarakhand Flood Relief

Due to recent torrential rains in Northern India, floods and landslides devastated Uttarakhand state. Hundreds of deaths are confirmed and many more are feared to be lost. Thousands are still stranded, rescue is continuing.

The International Association for Human Values (IAHV), in partnership with the Art of Living Foundation (AOLF) has established a disaster relief fund to provide humanitarian assistance to the victims of the floods in Uttarakhand. Your contributions will be used to provide immediate material relief, trauma relief and long term rehabilitation.

Art of Living volunteers are already on the ground, providing food and trauma relief to the evacuees. About 30 volunteers have reached the Jolly Grand airport. As part of the relief-work, the volunteers, coordinating with Indian army have distributed 5,000 food-packets, so far, to the people who reached the airport safely through the helicopters. More volunteers and initiatives are expected to come forth in providing aid.

IAHV is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All contributions are fully tax-deductible.
