service form the foundation of IAHV's global activities. We believe that unless
the individual's spirit is lifted, one cannot be an instrument for positive change
in society. Moreover, social and economic development must have human development
at the core of its planning and conception. It must seek towards nurturing the community
spirit. Only then development will be sustainable. Furthermore policy making and
planning agencies must continuously be in conversation with human and social factors
for true sustainability. IAHV follows a unique three pronged approach in its action
plan towards the goal of uplifting communities .
